Grrrrr: New Knitty

grrrr5

*Waves at anyone who's come over from Knitty* For those who haven't, the pattern's here.

Normal blogging will resume at the weekend. I've been ill, and busy at work. But I have a WIP (a summer cotton cardi) and a lovely bit of stash enhancement to show off, all of which I'll post about soon.

YAY!~ wicked cute! I think my 1.5 yr. old triplet nephews need those! How long do you think three will take?

reply also posted to ponyknit's blog:

Ooo, I have no idea, depends how fast a knitter you are! I'd imagine each cloth could be done in an evening, maybe two. So if you were on a deadline you could probably push three out in less than a week.

Grrrr is so adorable, I had to make one immediately after I saw it. It turned out really cute! I'm trying to hurry up and finish my current project so I can make more!

Just came over here from knitty... I've been trying to find something to do with some yellow cotton yarn I have lying around, and this is perfect! Thanks!

BRILLIANT!!! I love the Aslan-ness of them - I used to have an Aslan t-shirt when I was younger and loved him a lot. Recently tried to re-read it and find it all a bit religious for me! I will deffo be making one of these when I am back from my holidays!

Great pattern. I replaced all my washing-up sponges with Mason-Dixon dishcloths a while back and now I can replace my plastic shower puffs too!

Thank you for this!!! I've made 3 already. They took me about 1.5 hours each after getting the loop stitch mastered.
My friends just had a baby and I could just tell he needed these. :)

I found the pattern on knitty a few days ago and already made one for my cousin's little boy. I am deviating from the color selection into something that is not orange. The pattern was so nice and fun when I got use to it. Keep up the great work!oqydjk
