New knitty? Really, I hadn't noticed...

My lovely model - Uslan.

He's single. Straight. Smart. And been known to make his own clothes. Doesn't knit, but dare say he could learn. Easily bribed with beer and brownies.

I warn you, the dude has a filthy mouth and terrible taste in football.

Saw it and ran right here to congratulate you. A lovely design and strangely enough, the first thing my boyf has seen on Knitty and decided he MUST knit.

While he is busy knitting, please pass my details on to your hunky model :)

The boy may have a filthy mouth, but he's got an excellent taste in scarves.

He's also given me a serious episode of glasses envy.

Hmm, now the postcard you sent me with the checkered pattern is starting to make sense...

Word has it one or two are unhappy with the model.

That wouldn't have happened if you went with either "The Honey Pot", "The GoatSE" or that other one you banned.

Anyway, yay for backlash.

Also, why can't i post pictures in the comment box? The world needs to see the crucifix pics.

Look, a whole post without the word cunting! Woo!

I looked at some random blog reviewing the new knitty which disliked Uslan for his posey scenester looks, and I'm afraid that since I was sitting next to him at the time I couldn't help telling him. I wouldn't let him see the page or post comments, but I'm afraid he'll never shut up about it now...

Funny -- I saw the pattern in Knitty and thought "nice, I may actually knit that one" and didn't connect it to you until I came and read your blog this morning. Congrats! I do love the pattern.

So great to see your awesome pattern on Knitty! (and I love the little bits of yellow in it too - so fitting for this month!) Big congrats on getting it published! I know we will see many scarves popping up all over blogland! ;)

your scarf rocks my dear, congratulations on getting it published. I hear you on the scarf boredom issue. I didn't complete a scarf until I'd been knitting for ages. Asymetricallity is a great solution and you did it so well. And the world needs more double knit patterns.
