Even though it's been bright sunshine all week, the weather still feels like this:
(taken weekend before last, when it did actually snow). I seem to feel constantly chilled. And not in the metaphorical, relaxed, way either. It seems plain wrong when it's so sunny, but there is a cruel wind, and it's early enough in the year to still want a bit of cloud cover. I don't think sitting with college's over enthusiastic air-con's all day is exactly helping.
So, in amongst the shivers and sneezes, I've been comforting myself with this:
It'll be socks. It was going to be lovemeknots. Then it was going to be plain stripes. But now it appears to be slipped-stitch colourwork. A proper post will happen at some point when I've thawed enough to think of anything creative. Until then, brrrrr.

GAH! It's April! WTF. Snow = no longer welcome. I went for a run last weekend and it started snowing on me. I couldn't believe it! Here's to a nice spring!
wow, snow? we've had some beautiful days here recently. i can't imagine it snowing now. glad to hear you're keeping warm with yarn :)
I really don't care for wind or for being cold. Knit yourself something cozy and try to stay warm! I think the real Spring - the warm one - is still coming.
I remember a few days back in February, when it was warm enough to knit in the garden and have my bunnies do their bunny business in the sun. May is in less than two weeks, and I don't feel like putting away any of my winter sweaters. Maybe this is why knitting in cotton does not quite appeal to me yet? The yarn shades are lovely btw...I am off to make myself a hot chocolate...
that yarn does comes in lovely colours! I too am tired of going about all wrapped up. BAH
Brrrrr!!
I know just how you feel, I find chocolate colored yarn solves all problems.
Pah! Stupid weather. I got hit with so much hail yesterday. Going to hide under my stash now.
Nice post thannks for sharing
