I broke out the laceweight soysilk. I'm hoping blocking will do wonders.
Thanks for all your kind comments and emails after my last post. I worry about mentioning my non-knitting life in the blog (for lots of different reasons) but your kind words meant a lot so I'm glad I did.

Soysilk - lovely! I'm sure the pattern will get neater when its blocked
I've been contemplating the boyfriend socks for my own - they are great in blue!
The reason lace worries me is displayed quite nicely in that photo. Never looks right until aggressive blocking...
Blocking *will* do wonders. Blocking always does. Although I've no idea about soysilk.
What pattern are you using?
sorry scratch that... I'm guessing it's the one on your sidebar. Are you doing the small or big one? it looks like a pretty pattern! Hard though!!!
