Welcome to team knitting in public. Anyone wanna join in?
EDIT: take the button if you want (or make your own) and I'll keep and eye on the blogs of anyone who comments to do a bit of "commentary" once the games commence.

I'm in. If I'm going to get the gold, Samus will get plenty of exposure on the subway.
Would love to be a member of Knitting in Public. I not only knit yesterday in public - waiting room - but took my first sock lesson from my mom in December in public. Turns out knitting is the perfect carry along when waiting is about to occur!
I will be knitting most of the 16 days in public....at a ren-faire none the less. If I can get to a computer with internet access I will post what's going on!

Sign me up, too! There aren't many customers knitting in Pep Boys auto parts stores, apparently, judging from the looks I got today!
Just found you guys now, but count me in--I frequently knit in public (yesterday, I knit while between getting x-rays taken :P)
Nice information, many thanks to the author. It is incomprehensible to me now, but in general, the usefulness and significance is overwhelming.
This will not really work, I think like this.
